Read this if you’re feeling down

I write this post more so for myself. The past one week has not been easy. Being caught up between my 9-5, managing my immigration application and planning a vacation side by side had taken its toll on me.

Since I had so much to do, I would find myself peaking into social media every now and then to the extent that it was becoming toxic without me even knowing.

“An addiction to a distraction is the death of your creative destruction”

This is one of my most favorite quotes of all times. On top of all this, I got the viral flu which further aggravated my situation. So I decided to do a complete social media detox by deleting Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. It proved to be an amazing decision so far.

The goal is to pay attention to what’s important up until the weekend. This digital age can seem daunting at times but if you know how to control your mind and take measures, you won’t be affected by it in a negative way.

Always remember, you are the controller of your mind and thoughts, not the other way around. Don’t let it fool you, strategize and take control!
